More than just making music!
Being part of Waikato Symphonic Band is about great music, shared experiences and being part of a welcoming group of people who simply love to play.
Throughout the year, we perform at local concerts, community events and festivals, as well as taking part in regional and national competitions.
Along the way there’s plenty of laughter, friendship and memorable moments.
Take a look at some of our recent highlights and see what being part of WSB is all about.
Inspired to pick up your instrument and join us? We’d love to hear from you.
Combined Concert - Making Music Together!
On 4 September 2026, Waikato Symphonic Band joined musicians from Hukanui School, Fairfield Intermediate and Waikato Schools Symphonic Band for a wonderful combined concert at Hukanui School.
It was a fantastic opportunity for musicians of different ages and experience levels to come together, share their love of music and perform for family, friends and the wider community. A great evening celebrating music, learning and the joy of playing together.
